On June 2, 2017, the training workshop on "consular protection work and the application of law in the resolution of overseas security risks" was opened at Shanghai, which is sponsored by Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, Shanghai Foreign Economic Cooperation Office of Shanghai Commercial Committee and Shanghai Overseas Rescue Center was held in Shanghai CPPCC. This training mainly includes the interpretation of state consular protection work, the application of law in the overseas security risk reponse in high-risk areas. Dr Zhou Zhanggui, the Director of OSS Institute, NTS-PD, Zhejiang University,was invited as a trainer and lecuturer on the overseas security risk control and practical application.

Dr Zhou Zhanggui, combined with his decade UN field feasibility and security studies in Haiti, sierra leone, Liberia and other countries, shared with Chinese enterprises on going out laws, regulations and policies in a particular theme on the enterprise safety management system, and explained in detail the know-how based on ALARP paradigm.
